Long-term counselling
Ongoing sessions
- Explores deep-rooted issues
- Looks at patterns, past experiences, and emotions

- Long-standing emotional difficulties, depression, anxiety
- Personal growth and self-understanding
Single session counselling
A one-time counselling session designed to address a specific issue, with a short follow up to reflect on progress 2 weeks later
- Focuses on an immediate concern or decision
- More solution-focused
- No ongoing commitment

- A sudden problem (e.g. conflict, stress before an exam)
- Getting quick clarity
- Uncertainty around starting therapy
