Why come to counselling?

Thoughts, feelings and emotions can sometimes become jumbled up in our minds. This can lead to feeling anxious, low in mood and overwhelmed.

Sometimes, this can be reflected in work/school attendance, changes to relationships, a reduction in activities you'd once enjoyed or unexplained niggles in physical health. If you are at a point where you want things to feel different but don't know where to start, counselling could help. 

To have a non-judgemental safe space can be a step towards understanding those thoughts, feelings and emotions in a way that feels more manageable. This can make things feel clearer. It may be a move towards acceptance, it may be healing, it may be easier to see what steps you want to take.
